Field Day!!  Wednesday, May 9th will be Field Day!  It will be a great day of fun for the kids. They will rotate through various group activities and then given the freedom to choose other activities throughout the back field. Some of the many events will be Fireman Relay, Tug of War, Agility Relay Races, Volcano, 50 yard Dash and many more. ***There will be an organizational meeting for all Field Day volunteers on April 26th from 4:15-5:15 at the Pavilion. Celebrate Literacy Week: January 22 – 26 The Just Read, Florida! Office and the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), in partnership with other FDOE offices, school districts, state organizations and agencies, are planning the tenth annual statewide Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! 2018 events. Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! 2018 is scheduled for the week of January 22-26, 2018, so mark your calendars now for this important week of events. The goal of this year’s Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! is to promote literacy and excellent reading habits in the students of Florida. Monday, January 22 – Kicking it off with Good Reading Habits – Students may wear crazy socks with their uniform. Tuesday, January 23 – Poem in Your Pocket Day – Teachers will distribute grade level appropriate poems to students or students can bring a poem from home. ☺ SMILE!! Class & Club Picture Day will be next Friday, January 19th, 2018. Students must wear uniforms (may wear Friday approved Blue Ribbon and House shirts). Class pictures will not be in the yearbook but are available for sale @$10 a photo by completing the attached envelope and appropriate payment.  Please use a separate envelope for each class you would like photos from (i.e. 3 photos of Mrs. X’s class = 1 envelope, 1 photo of each of Mrs. X’s class, Mr. Y’s class and Mrs. Z’s class =3 envelopes) Club pictures will be used in the yearbook, but are not for sale. School-Wide-Arts Day is on Tuesday, November 21st from 1-3ish.   If you are able, 3rd-6th grade families are asked to donate Martha Stewart 2 oz Craft Acrylic paint in ALL colors.   Let your child know that they will not be able to take their art home.  Instead, they are contributing to a group project that will make our school more beautiful.  Our theme is "Sharing Kindness through Beauty.”...
